Eyes are apparently the windows to our soul, so we think it’s important to keep those windows looking their best! In today’s blog we want to share our favourite eye products with you, from soothing lotions to curl-enhancing mascaras.
The treatment: Liz Earle Eyebright soothing eye lotion (£13.25)
If our eyes look a little puffy or irritated in the morning, we treat ourselves to this cooling lotion from Liz Earle. Containing witch hazel, aloe vera and cornflower, the formula helps to tone and refresh tired eyes.
The palette: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude (£14.99)
This palette has 10 neutral eyeshadows ranging from a pale highlighter shade to a deep purple. The soft mink-y shades are perfect for every day while the stronger colours can be built up for evening looks. We apply the palest shimmer shade to the inner corners of our eyes to brighten them up.
The cream shadow: Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Eyeshadow in metallic pomegranate (£4.99)
When we need a hit of colour, we always lean towards cream formulas. This one from Maybelline packs a serious punch in terms of colour and lasts for hours. We especially love the shade metallic pomegranate, its deep burgundy hue is perfect for autumn.
The liner: L’Oreal Infallible Eyeliner in chocolate addict (£5.19)
This has been a favourite of ours for a long time now. The dark brown colour offers a softer look than black and the formula lasts all day long. The built-in smudger works well for creating a subtle, smokey look.
The mascara: Benefit Roller Lash Mascara (£19.50)
Benefit always comes through for us when it comes to mascaras, and we especially love their newest offering – Roller Lash. The unique ‘hook ‘n’ roll’ brush lifts and separates lashes, keeping them curled and defined.
The brow enhancer: Shavata Brow Perfector (£21)
Containing three cream shades this product covers skin and hairs in a natural looking way. We love the fact that you can blend the colours to get the right shade for you. We use this to define our lashes and then use a clear brow gel to keep them in place.
