When looking for a new beauty product, word of mouth and reviews often count for more than a fancy advertising campaign. This is why we thought we would collate the Beauty Resource team’s go-to beauty products – starting with skincare.
So, take a look at our recommendations and get ready to treat your skin on payday…
Morning cleanser – Aesop parsley seed facial cleanser (£25)
Ideal for combination skin, this cleanser is gentle and clarifying. The reason we keep going back to this product however is the lactic acid which provides a gentle exfoliation, helping skin to regenerate. The trick is to leave it on for a few minutes to work its magic (we apply, brush our teeth and then wash off).
Night-time cleanser – Liz Earle cleanse and polish (£14)
This cleanser is a cult favourite for a reason. We love it because it’s gentle yet effective. The scent and hot cloth removal also makes the act of taking off your make-up like a mini facial. We follow up with a swipe of Micellar water for a really thorough cleanse.
Face mask – Superfacialist rose intense moisture mask (£6.99)
This mask is perfect for those times when your skin is feeling dried out and dehydrated. The gentle formula boosts moisture levels, but doesn’t leave the skin feeling oily or greasy so is great for all skin types.
Oil – Caudalie polyphenol C15 overnight detox oil (£29)
Helping to regenerate and detoxify the skin overnight, this dry oil is perfect for those times when you overindulge on the naughty stuff (we’re looking at you wine and pizza!). The grapeseed oil acts as an antioxidant while healing essential oils purify and soothe congested complexions.
Body scrub – Sanctuary Spa ultimate salt scrub (£11.50)
Exfoliating and moisturising in one step, we love this multipurpose scrub. The salt promotes skin renewal while the jojoba, coconut and almond oils scent and nourish the skin.
