With warmer weather heading our way it is time to get legs looking their best so you can ditch the tights for another season. During winter humidity levels are low which can make skin dry and flaky, meaning they may not be in great shape just yet.
If your legs are in need of a little TLC before you whip out the short skirts, take a look at the following tips:
Tackle cellulite
Beauty starts from the inside – especially when it comes to cellulite. Make sure you are eating a healthy diet, getting physically active and using a dry body brush to improve circulation and flush out toxins.
Exfoliate
Nothing makes skin look dull than dry skin. Remove dry, flaky skin with a good exfoliator (we love Soap & Glory’s Flake Away). Use the product in circular motions and massage well to help boost circulation for revitalised skin.
De-fuzz
How you de-fuzz is a personal choice – you can either go down the professional route with waxing, electrolysis or laser hair removal or you can shave at home. If you do shave, make sure you leave it until the end of your bath, as the heat from the water will soften skin for a smoother shave.
Moisturise
Keep moisture locked in after all your hard work with an intensive moisturiser. On a budget? Try Nivea’s rich nourishing body moisturiser. Keen to splash out? We love Kiehl’s Creme de Corps moisturiser.
Faux a glow
Now is an ideal time to start building a tan to give yourself a subtle glow. Rather than a deep fake tan, use a gradual tanning moisturiser like Dove’s Summer Glow for a more subtle look.
