The Toothy Tabs come in six different and extremely unique flavours and are essentially solid toothpaste. The idea is that you pop the little tablet into your mouth, crunch it up and start brushing with a wet toothbrush. Eventually some foam will begin to materialise and from this point you should brush your gnashers for around 3 minutes before rinsing.
The tabs have been trialled and given the go ahead by dentists and hygienists so you can feel rest assured that you are not just brushing you teeth with nothing more than a vitamin tablet.
Flavours include the vanilla, black pepper and lemon Sparkle tabs, Earl Grey, lime and jasmine Aquatic tabs, clove and cinnamon Atomic tabs and wasabi Ultrablast tabs among others.
Though this is a great idea (in theory), saving on the amount of plastic packaging going into toothpaste tubes, reducing the number of chemicals used in keeping your smile pearly white and introducing some interesting flavours to the toothpaste market, I have to say that despite being a self confessed Lush addict I think I will be sticking to my old faithful minty toothpaste for now.
If you are brave enough to give Toothy Tabs a try then they are priced at £2.50/12g and are available either online or in store at Lush.
