The Pretty Pastels Palette is a combination of light pastel shades including a soft mint green, a subtle ice cream pink and a light dove grey, all of which is packaged inside a delightful vintage inspired compact.
Our favourite of the two palettes has to be the more wearable Metallic Nude, which is a mixture of browns, golds, taupes and creams which are great for either an every day look, or can be combined for a modern take on a smokey eye.
Vanessa Guallar is a make-up artist for 17 and has had ten years experience in the make-up industry. She said, “ This palette will help you achieve the essential subtle feminine look key this spring season. Perfect to brighten up your make-up after the cold winter, the hint of colours in this palette will add warmth and glow at the same time. It is fantastic for achieving the perfect day to night look. Use the light colours during the day and for night-time get a soft smokey look with the dark browns or greys”.
This compact is particularly great for travelling when you don’t want to carry around huge palettes or multiple eyeshadow pots as its small size but the multiple colours allow you to create a multitude of looks. Guallar recommends blending the gold and soft brown together on the top of your eyelid to create a soft glow for spring.
17’s Limited Edition Vintage Eye Palettes are priced at £5.49 each and are available either in-store at Boots or online.
