Baked To Last is the new collection of eyeshadows, bronzers and blushers from The Body Shop, all lovingly handmade in Italy by local artisans who bake the products in small batches for 24 hours to ensure the pigments are bound together meaning intense colour and deep coverage.
The collection offers two blushers, a pink toned and a coral toned both with a highlight colour, eight eyeshadows which are made up of a lid colour and a deeper more intense colour which can be used for the outer corners or for lining and lastly two bronzers which offer an authentic looking sun kissed shimmer.
It has to be said the set up of this collection channels some Mac In The Groove vibes with the shadows, blushers and bronzers not dissimilar to that of the mineralize trio shadows, duo blushes and mineralize skin finishes only a little less pigmented (could there be some possible dupes in there?).
Anyhow, the whole range incorporates Nambian marula oil and olive oil both of which are community trade and help to repair the skins moisture barrier which is great for anyone who tends to find powder products drying throughout the winter.
As always with The Body Shop the range isn’t what you’d call a bargain but you’re paying for quality and there’s nothing in the line which is going to break the piggy bank either!
Prices range from £9.50 – £14 and all products are available in store or online.
