With Halloween creeping up behind us and about to make it’s move, it is about time we started to get into the spooky spirit. Halloween is a great opportunity to get dressed up, go out and have some good wholesome monster madness fun! However, if carving eerie faces from pumpkins, covering yourself in fake (difficult to wash out) blood and getting your house egged by youths dressed as skeletons doesn’t really sound like your cup of tea then we have a splendid alternative.
Lock the doors, hit the lights, jump in the bath and trick or treat yourself with Lush’s limited edition Jacko bath bomb (£2.50). Light up bath time with a ghoulish glow and the lingering scent of cardamom, clove bud and spearmint oil. If you’re not convinced that’s enough to scare away the daemons then try the new magical potion Ghost shower gel (£14.95), Unlike most ghosts it doesn’t make your hair stand on end or give your skin goosepimples. It makes them soft, smooth and lily scented.
What’s more, we noticed the names of Lush’s two limited edition products seemed to correlate with two much loved figures in pop culture that we recently lost. Could this be a coincidence or a subtle way of paying their respects? We think it is the latter and this is why Lush will always be one of our favourite beauty brands with a conscience.
Both products are available to purchase from the Lush homepage or from selected stores.
