When using the word "Beauty Resource", www.beautyresource.org.uk, "BeautyResource.org.uk", or "we" it is used to describe and refer to the private limited company trading as Memiah LTD.
Using Beauty Resource and accessing any information from the directory means you agree to the terms and conditions of use. The terms and conditions may be changed without prior notice at any time so please keep yourself updated for any changes. If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions, do not use this website. If you do use Beauty Resource, your conduct indicates that you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
Beauty Resource is not an agent for the beauticians/cosmetic surgeons or organisations, whose services are displayed, mentioned or referred to in Beauty Resource. It does not control and is not responsible for the prices of such services, availability, competency, suitability or professionalism.
Beauty Resource is a directory of beauticians/cosmetic surgeons and holds no judgment on any individual person or organisation listed in the directory; we publish the individual/organisations profile listing and are not responsible for the competency nor professionalism of the service provided. The information published on a specific organisation or individual is as per the information provided by that individual or organisation and we are not liable for any false information given such as contact details, qualifications or membership details. We do our utmost to ensure the individual beauticians/cosmetic surgeons on our site are qualified and/or registered with a recognised body when submitting their profiles, however we strongly recommend that you verify this as we will not be held responsible for any false information provided, referred to and displayed on www.beautyresource.org.uk.
In the event that Beauty Resource receives a complaint against a practitioner listed, Beauty Resource is not responsible for that individual or organisation. Beauty Resource is just a directory and has no responsibility to the individual making the complaint - although Beauty Resource does have the right to remove any practitioner listed and cancel their membership at any time. Beauty Resource is not responsible for any member listed in the directory and an entry does not mean that Beauty Resource endorses or accredits the qualifications and/or skills of beauticians/cosmetic surgeons appearing in it.
Beauty Resource make every effort possible to make information on Beauty Resource as accurate as possible, however cannot and will not be held responsible for changes such as name, address, phone number, qualifications and memberships with recognised bodies - this is up to respective owners of the advert to inform Beauty Resource of any changes, and up to users of www.beautyresource.org.uk to verify with beauticians/cosmetic surgeons that the information is correct. You understand and agree that BeautyResource.org.uk does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information in or provided in connection with BeautyResource.org.uk.

Beauty Resource is a customer driven website and holds no judgment on the services listed on Beauty Resource. Customers are invited to offer feedback on genuine services and experiences they have had with beauticians/cosmetic surgeons or organisations listed on Beauty Resource. We may then make further contact with the beautician/cosmetic surgeon or organisation or the person of whom is making the comment to obtain more details of the incident in question. Once further enquiries have been made into complaints we receive we reserve the right to remove a beautician/cosmetic surgeon or organisation from the directory.
Employees of Beauty Resource are responsible for writing any emails and their content. We welcome any suggestions for content from beauticians/cosmetic surgeons and users alike however the final decision of content remains at the discretion of employees of Beauty Resource.
Beauticians/cosmetic surgeons or organisations listed on Beauty Resource are invited to tell us of any promotions or special offers they may have and although we will make every effort to include such offers or promotions we cannot guarantee inclusion. We reserve the right not to include any suggestions that we think unsuitable for submission.
Beauticians/cosmetic surgeons, individuals and any other person or body listed, implied to or referred to in Beauty Resource must seek individual permission to any director of Beauty Resource in writing if they wish to be removed, excluded or no longer implied to or referred to or listed on Beauty Resource.
Links to other websites, and content of, belonging to beauticians/cosmetic surgeons, organisations and also other bodies and associations remain the property of respective owners. Beauty Resource is not responsible for the content produced by beauticians/cosmetic surgeons on Beauty Resource; this too is the property of respective owners.

Each individual (this does not include organisations) who submits their full profile provides us with proof of qualifications or proof of membership with a recognised organisation at that time. However it is strongly recommended that you verify all qualifications and membership details of the beautician/cosmetic surgeon as we only ask for details on submission and DO NOT monitor changes. Beauty Resource cannot and will not be held responsible for any false information.
Beauty Resource and/or its directors shall have no liability at all for direct or indirect, special or consequential damages, relating in any way to the information provided. Beauty Resource is not in any way responsible for any claim made, or any information provided. An entry does not mean that Beauty Resource endorses or accredits the qualifications and/or skills of beauticians/cosmetic surgeons appearing in it.

Why is this information required?
Your address details are required to ensure the ‘search’ on our directory works correctly and those searching for a beautician/cosmetic surgeon can find a beautician/cosmetic surgeon in their own region. We understand that some individuals will not want their full address displayed on the Internet and is possible by ticking the 'Hide Address' box on the register page.
Your email address and telephone number are both required so that we can contact you regarding any queries and let you know that your profile has been approved, or if your application failed. These details are also required to enable those searching on our website to contact you.
Other mandatory information includes a paragraph about you, your training and qualifications and which treatments you provide. The purpose of our site is to provide those searching for a beautician/cosmetic surgeon with information about you before having to contact you, which is why the information has been made mandatory. Each beautician/cosmetic surgeon can choose how much or how little of the ‘Information’ they decide to give.
We need proof of your professionalism before your application is successful, which can be either proof of registration with a recognised body or proof of qualifications such as an NVQ or SVQ. These details are stored confidentially by us and will never be passed onto any third party.
Your name and credit/debit card details are used to take the agreed payment for your listing out of your account.
How are your card details protected?
A secure server is used to protect your card details. When you enter your payment details onto our website the locked padlock symbol in the bottom right hand corner is displayed, which means our site is secure and you can safely send private information through our site. We use Barclaycard Business for our card processing facilities, who are located in the UK. As we are a UK based website we only accept GBP (£) when processing your details.
Cancellation, Refund and Delivery Policy
Cancellation Policy
If you are paying monthly and wish to cancel your advert on Beauty Resource we will need written confirmation (by post or email) and you must give 30 days notice. If a payment was due to be taken within those 30 days this will still go ahead.
If you are paying yearly and wish to cancel your advert on Beauty Resource we will need written confirmation (by post or email) and you must give 30 days notice. If a payment was due to be taken within those 30 days for the following year this will still go ahead. You may cancel your advert at any time during the year but we will not reimburse you for any payment already taken.
If in the future you decide you wish to advertise with us again, please send us written confirmation (again by post or email) and we will set this up as soon as we can.
Refund Policy
We do not offer any refund policies; you may cancel your advert as described above, but we will not reimburse you for any payment already taken. If you decide to pay a yearly subscription fee, we do not offer a refund for any time the advert does not show on our website due to a cancellation. If you are paying a monthly charge, you may cancel your advert by giving us 30 days notice but we will not refund any payment already taken.
Delivery Policy
We will not take any payment from your card until your advert is listed on Beauty Resource. Payment will begin from the first day your listing is visible. If your application fails (due to qualifications, insurance or registration with a professional body not being provided) we will not charge your card.
