Good Things total wipeout cleansing wipes

Good Things total wipeout face wipesMost ladies chop and change their face wipes like there is no tomorrow, tending to view them as a necessity which cleans the face and removes make-up as opposed to a skincare product which could actually improve and enhance the look and feel of the skin.

Usually I opt for whatever face wipes are on special offer so on a trip to Boot’s I jumped at the 3 for 2 offer and picked up 3 packs of 25 Good Things total wipeout cleansing wipes which are £3.56 per pack.

I was immediately attracted to the Good Things brand as I think the packaging, design and marketing of the brand is far superior to many other drug store ranges and upon first glance the ingredients seemed to be looking rather good and all very natural (free from parabens, mineral oil, sodium laureth sulphate and animal ingredients).

The Good Things brand was developed by beauty writer Alice Hart-David, who wanted to make a range of products which were aimed at making the most of young skin. The whole range uses a variety of super fruit boosters and gentle but effective formulations to keep young skin looking clean, fresh and at its best.

I have now been using the face wipes for 3 whole months and can wholeheartedly say that they are the best I have ever used! My eyes are extremely sensitive and even though these wipes are fragranced (they smell amazing and fruity!) they didn’t cause any discomfort at all.

Something that stood out for me was just how moist the wipes were. It sounds like a trivial thing to get excited about but many brands I have tried in the past have actually been quite dry and you really have to rub vigorously to remove all traces of stubborn eye make-up. These wipes on the other hand really seemed to be moist and enriched with lots of the product (they contain soothing aloe vera and vitamin E to help calm sensitive skin ) so make-up removal is a real breeze and there is no sore eyes or eyelash shedding.

Finally, I can’t say I have ever noticed an improvement in my skin as a result of the face wipes I’ve used in the past, but with prolonged use I do think Good Things really helped to keep my skin clear and bright.
