Topshop cosmetics range
As part of plans to expand the brand, Topshop is soon to launch a cosmetics range.
The new line will be launching in May and will include basic products such as eye-shadows, liners and skin tints priced between £4 and £12.
It has been rumoured that the retailer will release six limited edition capsule ranges per year which will tie in with the clothing collections by using colours which complement in store trends.
The festival collection will be the first of the four to six trend led collections that will be designed each year to sit alongside the full makeup range.
Designer Lizzie Dawson told The Daily Mail that it will fill a massive gap in the market: “Usually you’ve got to go to specialist shops to find the kind of make-up girls wear at festivals. We wanted to offer fun, adventurous products on the high street at an affordable price.”
Although the range is yet to launch, it has already fallen in bad favours with the ever popular beauty bloggers, who have been refused pre-launch marketing information.
