Chanel transfer tattoos
If you’ve always wanted a tattoo but have never thought of anything you want enough to make you take the plunge then this could be the answer for you. Come March and women will be queuing at the doors of Selfridges to indulge in the latest skin decoration on the block.
The Chanel transfers were created for the spring 2010 catwalk and feature the fashion house’s signature pearls, bag chain handles and distinctive CC logo. Beauty resource especially love the delicate bird and beads transfer designed to go around the neck to look like jewellery. We also love the garter which delicately snakes pearls and the houses logo around the thigh and down the leg.
With some of our favourite celebrities adorning themselves with tattoo’s and with body art parading down the Jean Paul Gaultier and Rodarte catwalks this is a trend that is set to be huge in 2010.
‘Les Trompe L’Oeil de Chanel’ is a set of 55 individual transfers and will retail at £49. From March 1st they will be available from Selfridges but with body art set to be the big trend for 2010 Selfridges have predicted a waiting list frenzy and recommend you put your name on the list early to avoid disappointment.
