Making waves
The grass is always greener on the other side and it would seem this rule applies to hair. Those who are blessed with the gift of silky poker straight locks would rather have beach perfect waves or soft curls and vice versa! Well now we can have it all! A plethora of excellent straightner’s are available on the market so that those curly haired Shirley’s can all go straight whenever they fancy it. However, in the past it’s not been so easy for the straight haired of us to achieve a good curly look. Perms are difficult to manage even when loose and they take forever and a day to grow out. Curling tongs are great but often create tight wedding-esqe curls that drop quickly. The old trick of plaiting wet hair also works a treat but again can leave you looking a little frizzy. Well not to worry because Daniel Hersheson has created a fabulous piece of equipment he likes to call ‘waving tongs’. They do exactly what it says on the tin, giving you a fast track route to wavy hair. These tongs are so great because they aim to give you a natural look of textured beach hair and not a tightly curled preened look that is obviously styled. They may seem like a splurge at £85 but after all, you can’t put a price on beauty!
