M.A.C Skincare

We all wish we had a make-up bag overflowing with Mac products but we often overlook the brilliance of their beauty and skincare products! After all it’s all very well having a wonderful collection of make-up but what better way to show it off than on a perfect blemish free soft and smooth canvas. The new Volcanic Ash Exfoliator and Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask both belong to the new Style Black collection, which takes inspiration from the 80’s new Goth era. Eyeliner, beehives and beyond, this is a celebration of going madly, deliriously noir.
The Volcanic Ash Exfoliator £13.50 is a dual purpose foaming cleansing and exfoliating scrub. It blends volcanic ash with sugar crystals, a combination that refines and unclogs your skin and adds instant moisture. Some scrubs can leave your skin feeling sore, tender and a little red afterwards but this is gentle enough to use on your entire body and it leaves skin feeling and looking clean and comfortable. You don’t need to exfoliate everyday, it is more of something to do a couple of times a week to get rid of the dead skin cells and give you skin a good clean.
The Volcanic Ash Facial Mask £13.50 has the texture and consistency of a really good mud mask. It thoroughly cleanses and treats the skin and is best used at least once a week to help keep your skin moist and your complexion even. The great thing about this mask is that when you add water the mask begins to heat up, great for relaxation but also great for the skin, as this is what releases the oils and lubricates the skin. Believe it or not and sales pitch aside, this product really is best used after the exfoliator because after it has worked it’s magic unclogging pores and evicting dead skin cells, the exfoliator has made the perfect base environment for the face mask.
Together it may seem like these products are at quite a high price point. But remember you don’t need to use them everyday and as with moist high-end top quality brands, you don’t need to use as much to achieve results. Well worth investing in!

I think going natural on skin care is a good advice. Natural ingredients are commonly safe… but it is still best to consult your dermatologist.
Great tips! I had a lot of things learned.
