Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the world today and is the cause of the majority of cancer related deaths among women. According to the World Health Organisation, more than 1.2 million people worldwide will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. The good news is that mortality rates are declining as women are becoming more aware of early detection methods.

With 1 in 9 women developing breast cancer at some point in their life, it is so important that we show support and backing to a charity that in the future could potentially help a friend, or even yourself. Every October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the purpose of which is to raise awareness and funds for this very worthy cause. If you want to feel good about what you are spending your money on then there are plenty of beauty products up for grabs which donate a healthy proportion of the profit to helping women fight breast cancer.

Here are just a few of our favourite pink ribbon products.

Darphin is just one brand that is contributing to the overwhelming amount of support for this cause. For the month of October all of their classic Arovita C Energic Creams will be presented in a bright pink pot! The product retails at £46 and will be donating £5 from every pot sold to breast cancer research.

Origins is another brand that has signed up to show support and are donating £2 for every £11 pink packaged peace of mind ‘on-the-spot-relief’ they sell.

Estee Lauder are also a huge supporter of this cause and have a wide range of products available on-line, at the counter and from their sister brands.

Since it’s establishment in 1992, Breast Cancer Awareness Month have distributed enough pink ribbons to create a bridge of pink between New York and China if stretched end to end.
