London Fashion Week S/S10 favourite look

London Fashion Week saw some spectacular make-up parading down the catwalk last week. However, as much as we love to ogle over lashings of cyan eye shadow and never-ending eyelashes like seen at Luella or cobolt and lavender painted lips like those at House of Holland they aren’t entirely practical looks for work.

Thankfully the runways did give us some beautiful and workable looks for next summer, opting for a softer more neutral approach. Jonathon Saunders had a particularly wearable look which oozed a mysterious vampire like appeal. The world has suddenly imploded with vampire films, books, references, clothes and now make up after we all fell head over heels in love with Edward and Bella. Jonathon Saunders catwalk gave a Twilight-esque vibe with luminous skin achieved by the application of primer before foundation, for this try Mac strobe cream £20.50 , Clarin’s beauty flash balm £25 , or for a cheaper alternative try Eyeko’s highlighter cream £6.

To give you even more of a luminescent glow use a small amount of white pigment such as B Never Too Busy Too Be Beautiful’s metallic loose power in Big Shot £14.70 on the bridge of your nose and dust some onto your cheek bones before finally finishing  off the look with some very deep cherry lipstick such as Benefits Sassy Frass £13 or Wild Card £13 for that just bitten look!
