Whilst most of us are probably only dreaming only dreaming of winter sun at the moment, as opposed to actually experiencing it. However there’s nothing wrong with a bit of healthy glow, whether it’s fake or not.
Benefit’s Moon Beam is perfect for adding a light bit of colour without going over the top. It’s apricot, shimmery colour helps any complexion to glisten and have that healthy glow. Use it as a highlighter on cheek bones, wear it under foundation for to give your face a long lasting glow, or blend a little of it with moisturiser and use all over, of just the bits you want to show off - shimmering shoulders look great with a strapless LBD.
Debenhams have 25% off today as part of a three day event, including Benefit products so the Moon Beam only costs £13.95. Head over to the website now to snap up some bargains.

We’ve seen a lot of dark, smokey make up this season, and whilst that’s all well and good, sometimes it’s nice to have a bit of light sparkle to contrast those sultry eyes. Nails are great for adding a contrasting colour to your make up, and No7 have a lovely pale pink sparkly nail varnish as part of their Christmas Collection.
The shimmer pastel pink, with hints of lavender is subtle enough to look grown up, but still adds some sparkle to complement your party look. No7 nail varnishes are also very good quality, so there’s no change of it chipping.
No7’s Sparkle Nail Varnish costs £6.75, not a bad price for an item that’ll see you through many a season, and you can see it and the rest of the Christmas Collection in Boots stores or online now.

Chanel have just launched their Christmas 2008, and as always it’s pure luxury and sophistication. Being Christmas, the colour theme is gold and silver, with subtle shimmers and high intensity metallics.
My favourite product has to be the Poudre Precieuse, a shimmering loose powder. With lots of tiny sparkly particles, simply use the handily shaped crescent brush to sweep a layer of gold shimmer across your face, or across your arms and neck for a lovely golden glow.
There are also two new shades of lipgloss, Red Shine, a deep red with flecks of sparkle that would look great with understated gold eye shadow, or Gold Shine, a more neutral colour with a pinky gold shine.
You can get Chanel’s Christmas 2008 Makeup Collection online from Debenhams now.

The Body Shop have just launched a great range of glittery make up, called the Sparkly Seduction Collection. There are two Sparkle Eye Palettes, in Gold and Greens and Blues and Pinks. the lighter shades in each palette are perfect for highlighting the corners of the eye and the other shades are great for a sweep of metallic colour. Apply them with a brush, and for a really intense colour, dampen and blot the brush before applying the eyeshadow.
There are also three great new glittery liquid eyeliners, in gold, silver and green, perfect for an extra sparkly touch on the upper or lower lids. And for the finishing touch, add some Sparkle Lip Gloss, in Pink Sand or Dusk Pink - neutral shades with a twist of glitter.
Be seduced by the whole Sparkly Seduction Collection over at the Body Shop website now.

Laura Mercier make up is fast becoming a cult make up brand, favoured by many celebrities. The Metallic Creme Eye Colour is perfect for winter - skin is often drier so cream and mousse eyeshadows are better at staying put than powders.
They come in 8 subtle shades, ranging from pinks to purples to browns, and are great for adding a metallic shine or highlighting the centre of the eyelid or brow bone. The Eye Colour is also waterproof (handy for the unpredictable winter weather) and non-greasy and lightweight so it won’t grease. Apply them with your finger for an overall cover, or use a brush for getting it exactly where you want.
They cost £18 each and are available from the Space.NK website.

Glitter eye make up is the perfect way to go from day to night in one swoop of an eyeshadow brush. Personally I prefer a powder eyeshadow for metallic shades, as mousses and gels often crease and fade, needing reapplied, which is the last thing you want to be worrying about.
Pixi Beauty have this great glitter eyeshadow called Fairy Dust. It comes in a little pot and you simply apply it however and wherever you want. It comes in a massive range of 12 different shades, from a lovely smokey plum, a golden pink and classic silver.
If you want to make the colour even more intense, mix it with an eyeshadow base or colour sealer.
Pixi’s Fairy Dust costs £14 per pot and you can buy it on their website.
