The newest member of the too faced collection that I have succumbed to buying is Too Faced Shadow Insurance. This is a definite must have if you wear a lot of eye shadow and are tired of it creasing, fading or melting.

Once applying this to the eye lid wait a couple of minutes before putting your eye shadow or pigment over the top, it wonderfully fights off the oil and it allows it to stay put until its time to take it off. All the more reason to wear bright eyeshadow now knowing it wont crease!

Lets face it, we all enjoy a bit of pampering now and again and where better to spend a day than at a Champneys Health Resort. My sister and I took my mum to the Forest Mere Complex in Liphook, Hampshire for her birthday on Tuesday and I can’t recommend it enough. We had a fabulous day chilling out by the pool, walking around the lake and sipping smoothies and eating lemon cake in the Spa Cafe!

We opted for a ‘Spa Day’ experience which gives you access to the resort and all facilities (gym, pool, fitness classes), with this package you also get a Thalasso Pool Session (salt water and mineral pool with jets to get the circulation going), a 25 minute back massage and a 25 minute facial which was fabulous. A buffet lunch is also included plus towel and robe hire.

There are other day experiences available, I have also been to a ‘Top to Toe Day’ which includes a manicure, pedicure, massage, facial and buffet lunch. You can also go for a ‘Luxury Day’, ‘Relax Day’, ‘Mother To Be Day’, ‘Bride To Be Day’ and a few others. More information about the day experiences can be found here.

After a long day of relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings we headed to the shop and bought ourselves some products to take home. I purchased the Champneys cleanser (£8), toner(£8), moisture lotion(15), two in one face masks (£6 for 4) and some luxury face wipes(£5). A good days work I thought!

With the summer only round the corner and holidays already booked, it will be time to get your feet out of the boots you have worn all winter and into all the newest strappy shoes and flip flops. Before doing so think about giving them some TLC and treat yourself to some of the Champneys foot range, which I think are amazing for your tootsies!

Starting with the Instantly Reviving Foot Soak which smells lush will moisturise exhausted feet, containing sea salt and almond oil; a good pair for softening the skin on your feet. Then on to the Smooth and Polish Energising Foot Scrub, this is a deodorising scrub that exfoliates, getting rid of dead skin and helps to smooth out rough and dry skin. The combination of tea-tree oil and cream leaves your feet feeling soft and re-freshed!

After the scrub, I followed on to use the Deeply Moisturising Softening Foot Butter as a good finishing point having used the other two products. It contains Vitamin E which really helps the dry skin areas and after using it will help your skin to get back to being soft and no hard skin in sight! In my opinion a definite buy for the bathroom and overall a bargain for a great pampering session.
