Brightening Blonde Hair

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

Shine Blonde Shampoo & ConditionerI had my hair highlighted a while ago and sadly it started to fade as coloured hair eventually does so, I thought I would look for a shampoo that prolongues colour. I successfully found L’Oreal Professional Shine Blonde which enhances blonde hair, and sure enough after one week I had noticed a brighter shine to my hair.

The shine blonde shampoo is purple in colour which brings out the blonde tones in either natural or coloured/highlighted hair. There is also the shine blonde conditioner to go with the shampoo, both of which I have and smells yummy!

L’Oreal Colour ConditionerYou can also get in the same range Vitamino colour shampoo which prevents colour loss by locking in colour after getting it coloured. This is next on my list to use when I next get my hair coloured to use immediately after.

This range has impressed me and I think it is money well spent, considering it can be expensive getting your hair coloured every few months.

Beautiful Benefit

Dr Feel GoodI recently bought a load of Benefit makeup for the first time and have to say the brand has totally won me over. I was attracted to the stall in my local House of Fraiser by the unique illustrations and appearance of the products so went over for a closer look. I ended up throwing out all my old make-up to make room for the new pots and boxes – I couldn’t bring myself to throw away the packaging, its so pretty.

Non Fiction FoundationI purchased Dr Feel Good (£19.50) – a skin smoothing balm that helps reduce imperfections and lines, it feels lovely against your skin helps set a base for foundation. I wear it every day and really notice the difference in the texture of my skin, not cheap but a total must have! I also discovered their Non Fiction Foundation (currently on sale at £14.60), a light covering foundation that leaves skin looking natural rather than OTT. It’s by far the best foundation I have ever bought and has a lovely scent that people often comment on.

Creaseless CreamIf you get a chance try their Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liners, they are so soft and natural looking but give that litter bit of shimmer and sparkle to your eyes. I bought the Birthday Suit shade (£13.00) and wear it every day. The great thing about these eye shadows is that you can wear them on their own with some black liner and mascara, or you can use them as a base and build up different tones on top of them. A great buy in my opinion!

Bad Gal Lash MascaraI couldn’t leave the Benefit stall without trying their renowned Bad Gal Lash Mascara (£14.50). It is fantastic for both daytime and evening lashes; I don’t think I’ll ever use another mascara.

They also gave me a sample of a new moisturiser which was great but I cannot find it on the website.

Check out the Benefil Website for all the products.
