Beauty Boost - The Natural Way
I am a firm believer in you are what you eat, and after reading Now magazine this week I have picked up a few helpful tips.
For skin, Apricots contain Lutein a pigment in food that helps safe guard the skin against UV Rays that cause premature ageing & pigment damage, other sources are Black grapes, Peas and Kiwi fruit. These also contain Vitamin C and antioxidants for help with Acne and dry skin problems.
For hair, Soya milk is a good source of Protein which helps strengthen and thicken hair, beans & nuts are also good sources of Protein.
Avocado is one of the best things you can eat for your hair as it’s full of Vitamin E, and if you’re feeling a real earth mother you can even smother it all over your hair as a deep conditioning treatment, might be a bit messy washing it off after though, but they never said being beautiful was easy!

People who keep low fat diet usually avoid avocado because it contains a lot of fat. But actually it is high in monounsaturated fat which reduces cholesterol level in the body. Avocado is a very good source of Vitamin E, which is essential for keeping your skin smooth and young. Also avocado contains potassium which prevents high blood pressure. Avocado is great to use in sandwiches instead of butter spread.
